Let me present my crochet garment pattern and tutorial to you.
| Hello Lovely, She is finally here! Let me introduce you to Emily! This pattern has been months of designing, making, unpicking, rewriting, checking, filming, testing, and refining. There have been a lot of late nights with yarn, notes, stitch counts, and cups of tea, but seeing the finished tester photos come in has made all of that work feel worth it. The Emily Top is a fitted V-neck crochet top designed for real bodies and real wardrobes. It uses linked stitches to create a smoother fabric with fewer big holes, gentle shaping through the bust and shoulders, grown-on sleeves, moss stitch edging, and ribbing that helps pull everything together. It is still crochet, but it is crochet treated like clothing. My testers made Emily in different sizes, colours, yarns, and fits, and that has been my favourite part of this launch. The feedback confirmed what I hoped this pattern would do. Testers talked about the fit, the smooth fabric, the helpful videos, the lack of big holes, and how much they enjoyed seeing the top come together. I really hope Emily becomes one of those patterns you enjoy making, wearing, and maybe making again in another colour. This has been such a important pattern for me to bring into the world because I believe it is truly size inclusive and I am so proud of the beautiful neckline, overall fit and shaping for real curves… and the pom pom edging.
